Academy News this week comes from the SLD Department
As part of the SLD PE curriculum, each class has the opportunity to go swimming off site every half term. This half term, Canyon Class are going weekly to Oak Park Leisure Centre.
Students are learning how to swim, develop their independence through getting ready to enter the pool and changing after. Learners are engaging really well whilst in the leisure centre and really enjoying spending their time learning new skills.
We are very proud of our students.
