Students have engaged with sensory stories by taking part in drumming, pressing switches, tasting and smelling sweets and chocolate.

Within the Aspire curriculum we use sensory stories to develop:

• Love of reading by listening to stories

• Understanding of how they can use their sense of smell, taste, touch, sight and hearing

• Interacting and communicating with others

Learners are engaging really well with these activities and developing key skills.
